A ltd. ed. giclee print of Wild Bamburgh taken from my original painting of Bamburgh Castle, in Northumberland. I love this castle it can probably be traced back to c.420 -547 in some form and has played a part in many historical eras being passed from Britons to Anglo- Saxons, destroyed by the Vikings and rebuilt by the Normans and finally during Victorian times was loved and restored by the Armstrong family who still own it. I wanted the painting to show a little of this history, it is such a solid, beautiful and somehow dependable fortress, braving the North sea and all the weather that brings. I have holidayed here since a student and it is symbolic of rest, relaxation and calm to me.
The print is mounted in a cream mount ready for you to frame in a standard 50 cms x 50 cms frame.
